Dancing with the Stars: Break Out Cast & Brilliant Premiere Episode + Front Runners

This years season of Dancing with the Stars finally lives up to its title.   I just finished watching the premiere episode and I am blown away.  The talent is off the charts with the bar being set extremely high for the season.

Let me just say that this is a show about dancing and for me personally I have to ignore the horrible singing and focus on what each dancing pair brings to the table.  If you can do that then by all means follow along and watch this season cause it’s going to be a tight race.

While I did enjoy all the couples, there was a few that stood out for me.  Check them out after the jump…

MARIA MENOUNOS & DEREK HOUGH

These two were as adorable as they both could be.  Love her on Xtra and I think that Derek & Maria’s fan base puts them in great shape.

ROSHON FEGAN & CHELSIE HIGHTOWER

Never have I ever seen this Roshon Fegan before in my life but boy his moves and precision had me captivated, excited and wanting to be him.

SHERRI SHEPHERD & VAL CHMERKOVSKIY

Sherri’s pure joy to dance made me love the performance even more.  I am so happy she finally is on the show cause I know she is living a dream of hers.  I wish her luck!

WILLIAM LEVY & CHERYL BURKE

I had the most trouble watching their performance because of the fact that my ears were bleeding because of the singing and the girls were going ape shit over the “Latin Brad Pitt”.  He is gorgeous and I hope he sticks around so I can learn more.  I’m intrigued.

KATHRINE JENKINS & MARK BALLAS

My love for the United Kingdom accent only adds to Kathrine’s pristine everything.  She’s delightful, elegant and so talented that I didn’t even get annoyed by Mark once during the show!

GLADYS KNIGHT & TRISTAN MACMANUS

A legend.  Enough said.  I love how she said she does things for the fun of it!  Her partners bashfulness is adorable as well.  Look forward to seeing more.

KYM JOHNSON & JALEEL WHITE

Urkel how do I love thee.  This man shaped my childhood and I’m excited that he is getting the opportunity to shine even more.  It seems he’s ready to shed he’s geeky image but he will forever be Urkel to me.  Boy has got some moves ♥
