Once I got my beautiful new iPad 3, a week later my Mom got one for Mother’s Day and then today it was was time to get my Daddy one! When I shared the photo below, via Instagram from the Apple store, people started commenting how much we look a like.
As our Apple representative Sean walked my Dad through how to set up his brand new black iPad, I enjoyed watching his eyes light up with excitement as he saw the possibilities of his new gadget.
After his set up was complete and his initial questions were answered we headed over to bd’s Mongolian Grill to have some lunch. Since I’m still a fish eating vegetarian, I was delighted to find out that they would clean and separate my food on the grill from all the nasty meat parts. I honestly could give up fish in a second but I’m not yet versed on what else I can eat…I’m learning.
After we sat down, I showed my Dad how one could combine photos easily to tell a story.
When we got home, we spent the rest of the night bonding by talking about apps and taking photos. He was so amazed he could watch live games via a ESPN app. (I think that’s the name, it’s sports so I dunno fersure ^_^) It was another great day ♥
